Temples in Nalkheda
Darshan timings, aarti and travel guide for every major temple in Nalkheda.
Nalkheda is a small town in the Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh, about 100 kilometres from Ujjain, and it is known almost entirely for one temple: the shrine of Maa Baglamukhi on the bank of the Lakhundar river. Baglamukhi is one of the ten Mahavidyas, and the temple here is among the most revered of her shrines. Pilgrims often visit it as a day trip from Ujjain.
Best time to visit: October to March. Both Navratris, and Baglamukhi Jayanti in Vaishakh, are the temple's principal occasions.
