Darshan timings, aarti and travel guide for every major temple in Datia.
Datia is a town in northern Madhya Pradesh, about 75 kilometres from Gwalior and 30 from Jhansi, known for the Pitambara Peeth — a shrine of Maa Pitambara, worshipped as a form of Baglamukhi, established in the twentieth century by a saint remembered as Swami ji. The town is also known for the seven-storey Bir Singh Palace, built in the early seventeenth century.
Best time to visit: October to March. Both Navratris are the Peeth's principal occasions.
