Introduction: In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India, the largest temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha is called Chintaman Ganesh. This temple is situated around 7 kilometers to the southwest of the town of Ujjain, across the shipra river on the Fatehabad railway line.   1. Chaitra Mash Jatra: This auspicious festival is dedicated to the memory of the first, well-known Lord Ganesha. The Jatra begins on the third Wednesday of Chaitra. It is observed on Wednesdays of this month. Farmers from the surrounding rural areas are among the visitors to the temple. Nowadays, the general public joins the farmers in this Jatra custom.
  2. This time of year, in addition to Chintaman, other Ganesh temples are bustling with Jatra. Lord Gajanan is exquisitely decked on this day. The grounds of the temple are tastefully landscaped. The stores are decorated for the Jatra, and people seem to be really excited about it. People are constantly on the move.
  3. A unique bhog is also offered to the deity during this event. People in temples offer bhog with quitlas as they do their religious duties. People also demonstrate charity in this. It ends on the final Wednesday of the month of Chaitra.
  4. Til Chaturthi: In mythology, the anger should be sacrificed to Lord Ganesha on Til Chaturthi in the Magh lunar month. On Makar Sankranti, the anger is just as important as the kite. Women fast on this day. Additionally, Ganesha receives his spleen from Chintaman. Tilli Chaturthi is now celebrating Chintaman Ganesh with a grand ceremony and a feast consisting of 1.25 lakh laddoos. As thousands of people from nearby regions started to converge with Ujjain, preparations for Fariyali Khichdi, Milk, Jalebi, and Halwa for the devotees are now produced on Chaturthi with the help of locals and devotees.   5. Bhadrapat: Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Vinayak Chaturthi, is a major event in the state of Maharashtra commemorating the birth of Lord Ganesh. Theur celebrates Lord Chintamani’s birthday on August/September, Bhadrapat Shudh.
  6. Rama-Madhav punyotsav: As part of the Rama-Madhav Punnyotsav, the temple hosts a fair in the month of Karthik. This honours the anniversary of Madhavrao and his wife Ramabai’s deaths, who were patrons of the temple.

By train: Located close to the Chintaman Ganesh Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is the modest Chintaman Ganesh railway station. CNN is its code. However, main Ujjain junction should always be chose over.
